Bourton Country Shoe - Orange Bookbinder
Bourton is our iconic men’s country shoe. These shoes are a piece of Northampton shoemaking history, and yet today they are the go-to shoe for men all around the world. The Bourton is unmistakable - a heavy Derby shoe that bears the brogue detailing synonymous with true country shoes. A half bellows tongue is folded and attached to the shoe to provide a watertight seal, and the storm welt provides an additional watertight seal between the shoe's upper and sole.
This lightweight version has the classic construction but sees the removal of the through or midsole - the result once complete has traditional country appeal without the weight.
Made on the 4444 last which we do advise on dropping at least half a UK size.
